Wednesday's projected storm has now been upgraded by NWS Grand Rapids to a Winter Weather Advisory for all counties west of the M-127 and south of the US-10 corridors.
Snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches are expected from 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, Feb. 12 to 7 A.M. Thursday, Feb. 13 for portions of central, south central, southwest, and west central Michigan.
The advisory was issued on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 2:20 P.M. for all our local listening counties, which includes Mason, Oceana, Lake, Newaygo, Mecosta, Osceola, Clare Isabella, Montcalm, and Kent Counties.
Please plan on slippery road conditions, as the hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
