Water service shutoffs are being scheduled over the next five days on Fuller Avenue in Big Rapids.

This work corresponds with the installation of a new 12-inch water main from State Street to Escott Street. Here are the scheduled shutoffs:

• Friday, Aug. 7: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (CLICK FOR SHUT-OFF AREA MAP)
• Monday, Aug. 10: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (CLICK FOR SHUT-OFF AREA MAP)
• Tuesday, Aug. 11: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (CLICK FOR SHUT-OFF AREA MAP)

The affected area of these shutoffs will be between Division Street and Hutchinson Street.

"We appreciate your patience and understanding as these important infrastructure improvements are completed," Steve Gove said, city communications coordinator. "Please plan ahead for these temporary interruptions by storing water for drinking, cooking, and other household needs."
