This weekend, the Ferris State volleyball team will host a three-day tournament featuring five of the top programs in the country.

The six-team tournament will run from Thursday, Aug. 27, through Saturday, Aug. 29. It will include 12 matches, four of them featuring host Ferris State.

The opposing teams are:

• MSU Denver — 2025 national champion, ranked No. 3 in the AVCA preseason poll
• Minnesota State — went 23-6 last season and received AVCA honorable mention
• Emporia State — coming off its most wins in a season (21) since 2011
• Illinois Springfield — 30 wins over the past two seasons
• Purdue Northwest — finished 2025 with its best record of the past decade

The Bulldogs enter the season ranked No. 10 nationally in the AVCA poll.

Tickets are $10 per day for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for faculty, staff and children ages 5-17. Children younger than 5 and Ferris State students are admitted free. A tournament pass good for all matches is available for $15.
