The Lake County Sheriff’s Office posted a public assistance request on social media in hopes of identifying a suspect in a recent pursuit.

Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop of the suspect at about 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, on northbound M-37 in Eden Township. The suspect did not stop and led deputies on a pursuit.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the motorcycle is asked to contact Central Dispatch at 231-745-2711.

“Please reference report No. 2026-01273 when providing information,” the sheriff’s office said. “The Lake County Sheriff’s Office appreciates the public’s assistance.”
