Richard Lee Ladd Sr., age 58, passed away on January 16, 2024. He was born on August 23, 1965, in Saginaw, MI, and was raised in Millbrook. A yard hand for many years, Richard found joy in his work and those he worked with. He married Candice Ladd and together the two grew their family to include five children. Anyone who knew Richard knew how important his family was to him. They were his greatest accomplishment and source of happiness.
Left to cherish his memory are children, Philip and Monica Traynor, Crista Olsson, Richard Ladd II, Autumn Ladd, Summer Ladd and many other children who thought of him as a father; nine grandchildren whom he loved so very much, Dylan, Noah, Savannah, Kara, Xander, Jourdan, Caedence, Dakota and Paighten; five great-grandchildren, Maeleigh, Maxtin, Carter, Madelynn and Masen; siblings Daniel Conner, Lacina (Ken) Karas, Louis Neumann and LouAnn Eaton; Richard and LouAnn’s best friend, Ole Pops (Dan Wiggins), Amy, and his nephews, RJ and Stephan, who were very dear to Richard’s heart.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Candice Ladd.

Per his wishes, cremation will take place with a memorial service and luncheon to be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00 in the afternoon, at The Millbrook Free Methodist Church (5751 7 Mile Rd., Blanchard, MI 49310).
