Donna Marie Dunford, age 61, passed away Saturday evening, June 1st, 2024, at her home comforted by her loving family. 

She was born March 30, 1963 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Bruno Persyn Sr. and Barbara Ann (Lablanc) Persyn.  Donna was a long-time employee for the State     of Michigan – serving as a Social Worker.  She retired in September 2022. 

Donna lived a life full of love and laughter.  She liked to play bingo and read but she found the most joy in spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her daughters Krystle (Chris) Maddox of Leroy and Stephanie (Rodney) Blood of Tustin; grandchildren: Ethan, Shelby and Vivian Maddox, Kaleb and Jordan Dunford, Courtney (Dillon), Dillon, Lillian, and Connor Blood; great grandson Silas Wheelock; siblings Ida Mae Rush, Helena (Ray) Bezzina, James (Dawn) Persyn and Robert (Jo Ellen) Persyn; and her companion Joseph Lock.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Dunford; siblings Bruno Persyn Jr., Sylvia Baker and Carolyn Dunford.

Visitation with the family will take place from 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Pruitt-Livingston Funeral Home in Reed City.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 6th, 2024 at the Pruitt-Livingston Funeral Home. Burial will take place next her husband at the Ashton Cemetery.
