Larry H. Marek age 75, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Mission Point of Big Rapids. He was born August 27, 1948 in Big Rapids, the son of Henry and Opal (Fick) Marek.

Larry had a passion for music and classic Elvis songs. He loved to care for his dogs, and spend time with friends and family. He was a caretaker for many years at different nursing homes in the area. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his siblings, Eugene (Susan) Marek of Stanwood, Faye (Paul) Jacobs of Grand Rapids, James Marek of Howard City, Peggy Marek of Big Rapids; and many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Henry Marek, Mary Etzel, Jannie Dexter, and Sally Hoffman. 

Funeral services will take place 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27th, 2024 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with burial to follow at the Stanwood Cemetery.
