Christine Kay Veenema (Anderson), 72, of Grand Rapids

Christine Kay Veenema (Anderson), aged 72, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2024, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born on July 20, 1951 in Alma, MI. Christine was a person of vibrant spirit and loving nature; cherished for her readiness to embark on spontaneous road trips and her unwavering support for her family. Christine‘s life was marked by her love for attending games and her generous, giving nature. She was a pillar of strength and support, always there for her loved ones in every possible way.

She is survived by her sons, Micheal (Mika) Veenema and Ronald Doran; grandchildren Paul Jones III, Karie (Brandon) Andrews, Cynthia Jones, Dylan Veenema, Emma Veenema, Makala Doran, Sidney Doran, and Bethany Gurnee; great-grandchildren Ann Andrews, Brandon Andrews Jr., Clara Andrews, and Hunter DeWitt. Christine also leaves behind her siblings Lanice Hall, Chuck (Judy) Anderson, Cherie Yost, and Hans (Julie) Anderson.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents C. Wayne Anderson and Lillice Anderson, brothers John and David Anderson, and daughter Kendra Jones.

A celebration of Christine's life will be held on July 11, 2024, at Lakeview Community Church at 10 AM, followed by a graveside service at Pritchard Cemetery in Elwell, MI, at 2 PM. Christine's legacy of love and dedication will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
