Lila Elizabeth (Yarrington) Foster went to be with her Lord and Savior after a short battle with cancer on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Altercare of Big Rapids.  She was 60 years old.

She was born February 26, 1964, in Reed City to Melvin and Lena (Schultz) Yarrington.  Lila attended Reed City area schools and was a 1982 graduate of Reed City High School.

Lila was employed over the years with Walmart, the Pioneer Press, and Northern Star Transport Company.  She enjoyed following the Detroit Tigers and her church softball team.

She is survived by her mother Lena Yarrington; niece Jordan and nephew Alex; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father Melvin and her brother Lee Yarrington.  

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Reed City Church of the Nazarene located at 5300 S. 220th Avenue (Patterson Road) in Reed City, MI 49677.  A luncheon will follow services at the church.  A visitation with the family will take place on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Reed City Church of the Nazarene from 6-8 P.M.  The burial will be private at the Fairview Cemetery in Mecosta County.
