Carole Joann Dwyer, age 85, of Hersey, passed away, at Mission Point of Big Rapids on Friday, July 27, 2024. She was born, Carroll Joan VanDyke, on June 20, 1939, in Chillicothe, Ohio to Charlotte VanDyke and raised by her maternal grandmother until she felt it was time to spread her wings.

Carole could often be a force to be reckoned with. Her inner strength and core values helped her persevere through life's challenges.

Carole is survived by: her grand children, Jackie and Oliver Aris of Washington, D.C. and Jennifer and Kurt Jones Of Reed City; son at heart, Brian & wife Sharon Vincent; two great grandchildren; two great great grand children; her sister, Dale Lynne Tobias; and a healthy group of stepchildren, extended family and friends.

Carole was preceded in death by: her parents; son, John J. Faris; her husband, Donald J. Dwyer III, and her brother, Harry Hutchinson.
