When things are the saddest they’ve ever been, and “I’m sorry,” is no longer what you want or need to hear, we choose to remember. We remember Kyle Evan Graber, who was talking to his wife, Stephanie, at work, in Nashville, Tennessee, when he unexpectedly passed away on August 15, 2024. For the last two years Kyle was an OEM Support Specialist for Bandit Manufacturing in Remus, MI. Prior to that he worked for several other great companies where he made many friends along the way.
Kyle was born on November 6, 1987 in Big Rapids, Michigan to James and Jodi (Rice) Graber. He graduated from Evart High School in 2006. On September 8, 2012 he married the love of his life Stephanie Crapo in Mt. Pleasant and they made their home and began their family in Weidman before moving to Barryton.
In everything that Kyle did we remember him being the life of the party. He was one of those guys that when he walked into the room the whole atmosphere would change for the better. He made things seem a little bit easier, any frustrations were less burdensome, and he made you laugh. The world is a better place because he was here.
Kyle is remembered by: his wife, Stephanie, for being her rock and the one that helped her constantly keep it together; for his children Journey and Evan, he was the one that could always make Journey laugh and Evan‘s best friend; his parents, Jim and Jodi, remember what a clown he could be, how dedicated and faithful he was as a, husband, father, son and friend; his brother, Jesse, may need to become a bourbon connoisseur or a whiskey snob to pick up where Kyle left off and he also knows snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and ice fishing, will no longer be the same without him; his in-laws, Mike (Angie) Crapo and Jeff and Teri Hull, remember his integrity & the love he had for their daughter and their grandchildren; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky (Ben) Freeman and Jamie (David) Cook, remember Kyle being the supportive and fun uncle; his signature dance moves, accomplishments in dirt bike racing, ability to sing karaoke and support of Wildcat Football, are just a few things that will be remembered by everyone, including his Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, and numerous Cousins, extended family and many close friends.
We remember: how Kyle’s heart broke with the passing of the triplets, Barrett, Tucker and Clayton in 2017; and how hard it was the last couple of years without his grandparents, Dale and Beverly Graber & Junior and Jennie Rice. We also know heaven must have needed him more and he is amongst family and a few close friends that he was missing. Until we see you again - thank you for giving us SO many good, funny and healing memories for us to hold onto.
Please be ready to share something you remember about Kyle with us and join us for visitation from 11am to 1pm with services and a time for sharing at 1pm, on Saturday, August 24th at the Evart High School gymnasium. In lieu of flowers any donations received, will be set aside for Journey and Evan. He will be laid to rest at Orient Township Cemetery, Sears, MI You can also share with us on the Corey Funeral Home website, www.coreyfuneralhome.com
