Ada Mae Draper, age 96 of Bristol, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

She was born October 23, 1928, in Mecosta County to Alex and Etta (Crusen) Church and was raised in Evart.  On December 29, 1950, she was married to Newton Draper who passed away in 2010.  

Ada enjoyed camping, reading, gardening, quilting (she made over 300 in her life), and bottle-feeding newborn fawns.  Ever practical, she was still splitting firewood in her 90’s.   She especially loved time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She is survived by her children Alex (Anne) Draper, Arland (Mary) Draper, Doug (Sheri) Draper, Yvonne Draper, Brian (Sue) Draper, and Angie Draper; daughter in law Anita Draper; 25 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Newton Draper; and her children Arvin, Barbara, Beverly, Timothy, and Newton Jr.

A memorial service took place at 11:00 A.M. Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Luther Lions Club located at 1003 State Street in Luther, MI 49656.
