Lucinda “Cindy” Ann Haynes, age 62, was born June 9, 1962 in St. Louis, MO to David and Ruth (Williams) Shifflett. Our beloved Cindy went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her Mother, Ruth on January 3, 2025.

Cindy grew up in Carson, CA and later moved to Evart, MI where she found a love for arts and crafts, cooking out, and feeding the town. If you were looking for your kid, they were probably at Mama Cindy’s. She was a wonderful friend and caregiver to her Mother, Ruth. Cindy's favorite gift in life was her family, especially her Grandchildren and Great Grandchild.

Cindy was preceded in death by: her Brother, Steven Kimzey; Mother, Ruth Shifflett; Grandson, Krystian Swales and Sister, Steffeney Riggins.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her Husband, Jefferey Haynes, who resides in Chase; Sons, Jeremy (Nick) Hubble of Sebewaing, Joshua (Jenn) Hubble of Evart and Jonathan Hubble of Evart; Daughters, Jennifer (Chuck) Swales of Evart and Shawna Tiegen; Grandchildren, Bailee, Kaiden, Ellie, Wyatt, Mariah, Parker, Markis, Kameryn, Kansys, Sarah, Robert, Jordyn, Aliyah, Bryanna, Joshua Jr., Kendyl, Lincoln, Tarze, Baylin, Kylee, Journie, Aceyn, Caleb, Jayedyn and Arieona; Great Grandchild; Kaya, Kyra, Nova, Vanessa, Nolan and Nevaeh; Father; David Shifflett, Sr. of Boise, ID; Sister, Tina Shroat (Beth) of Atlanta, GA; Brothers, Rick (Marcy) Riggins of Lansing, David (Julie) Shifflett of Boise, ID, Todd (Kathy) Shifflett of Oceanside, CA, Ronald (Tina) Riggins of Bakersfield, CA, and Rory (Janet) Riggins of Bakersfield, CA; Aunt, Judy Koester; Uncle, Donald Shifflett and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on January 7, 2025 at Corey Funeral Home in Evart, 415 N. Main St., with funeral services commencing at 2 PM. Those that are not able to join us and those wishing to extend their condolences, may do so on Cindy’s page, online at www.coreyfuneralhome.com

Burial will be held in the spring of 2025 at the Osceola Township Cemetery.
