It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tom Reinhold, a devoted father, adored grandfather, loved brother and uncle, and cherished friend, who passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025 at the age of 64. He was born in Mount Clemens, MI, on September 1, 1960 to Richard and Mildred (Moore) Reinhold. He graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1979 and entered the U.S. Army in 1980. Tom served his country until 1983 when he was honorably discharged.
Tom was a lifetime member of the AmVets, proud participant of Barryton American Legion Post 473 from 2009 to present and has been a member of the Reed City Moose since 1997. He was known for his kindness, big heart, strong work ethic, and sense of humor. He took great pride in his family, always putting their needs first, while working as a truck driver.
Tom is survived by: his children, Jamie (Mark) Stengel, Jason (Brittnee Ocelnik) Perry and Jessica Perry; his siblings, Richard Jr. (Raelene) Reinhold, Roy Reinhold, Robert (Terri) Reinhold and JoAnn Murray; his grandchildren, who he loved to get out of the city and take for quad rides- or any rides for that matter, Mark, Annabelle, Adriana, Katerina, Allie, Elijah, William, Anthony, Riley and Summer; his in-laws, Linda (Scott) Lindsley, Cindy (Jim) Ward and Sheila Gladish; his mother in-law, Jeanne Gladish; his cousin and best friend, Tom Weisgerber and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and life long friends.
Tom was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sr. and Mildred Reinhold; his sister, Ann (Karl) Rohrbeck and his father in-law Bill Gladish.
A service will be held at Noon at Corey Funeral Home in Evart, MI on April 5th with visitation at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the Evart VFW Hall where military honors will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help cover unexpected expenses in Tom's memory. Your generosity during this difficult time is deeply appreciated and will allow the family to properly honor Tom’s life and wishes.
