Donald J. Janes, 70, of Barryton, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025. He was born on March 13, 1954, in Flint, Michigan. Donald dedicated many years of his life to working at General Motors.

After retiring, he lived in Beaverton before settling in Barryton. He embraced the joys of life by spending time outdoors, enjoying his favorite activities of hunting, fishing, and boating. Donald’s life was marked by adventure and fun, bringing many memories to all who knew him.

He is survived by his children: Hollie (Dave) Jordan, Dean Janes, Jay (Kara) Janes, and Daniel (Chelsea) Janes; his beloved grandchildren: Madison, Mackenzie, Lilly, Landen, Lyza, Peyton, Mason, Gracelyn, Hayden, Dexton, and Logan. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia (Sandy) Coppola, along with many extended family members and friends.
