In loving memory of Kristi Jo Evans-Wanstead, who passed away on Mar. 9, 2025 at the age of 44.

She was born to her beautiful mother Patricia Evans at the Reed City hospital on June 23, 1980, and married her high school sweetheart, Terry Wanstead, on July 19, 2010.  She suffered from Graves’ Disease for 13 years before her passing, unexpectedly, at her home in Hersey.  She loved spending time with her family and friends and being a stay at home mom and wife.  She'd always be there--not only for her kids but for her husband and friends.  She was such an amazing person to have in your life she always knew just what to say to every problem.  She had a heart of gold and her passing leaves a permanent dent in everyone's heart.  She'll be missed dearly by everyone.  May she rest in peace with our heavenly father.  She loved everyone as her own family and she was such an amazing person to be around, anyone was lucky to have her in their life. She was an amazing mother and a great wife to her husband, Terry Wanstead.

She is survived by her husband Terry; five children: Makenzie Smithingell, Abigail Wanstead, Hunter Wanstead, Terry Jr. Wanstead, Patricia Wanstead.  She was the sister of Brian Blossey and the sister-in-law of Stacia Gray (Soper), Kevin Wanstead and Marget Kay Luce.        

Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at The New Beginnings Church located at 139 W. Church Street in Reed City, Michigan.  

There will be a luncheon held onsite immediately following services.  The family asks that everyone please bring a dish to pass.  We hope to see you there.
