Bella Dawn Davis, beloved mother, grandmother and niece age 68, of Luther, passed away March 18, 2025. 

She was born on May 24, 1956, in Detroit, MI, to Verda and Orie Nutter.  She grew up with several siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles.  She later married her husband, Larry Davis, and they moved to Luther, MI in 1994, where they raised their family of three children. Watching birds, working in her flower beds and having family dinners every week were some of her favorite activities. 

She is survived by her children: Melanie (Matthew McQuestion) Davis and Gregroy Davis; granddaughter Madison (Jake Smith) Matzella, grandson Chance McQuestion; and her little Chicken butt Aubreigh Oros; brothers Craig, Doug and Mike Nutter; and her aunt Maryann Hill; along with her lifelong friend Kathy Brunner.  Bella was preceded in death by her son Wilson Davis; husband Larry Davis; and brother Robert Nutter.  

She will rest easy knowing her children and grandchildren have a great support system along with the beautiful community of Luther who rallied around them in this time.  Bella was a force.  She will be greatly missed.
