It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lois Jean Horchner; wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who peacefully passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 87. 

She was married to her best friend, Roger, who proceeded her in death. 

Lois loved to travel to new places and enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading. She and Dad taught us that camping and campfires are a wonderful way to spend time together. Lois had a heart for animals and did not hesitate to help an abandoned dog or cat in need. 

She is survived by her daughters Julie (Roger) Powers, Sue (Randy) Boike, and her three sons, Larry Horchner, David Horchner, and Michael (Deana) Horchner; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lois will be dearly missed. 

At her request, there will be no services held but please share a favorite story or light a candle in celebration of her journey home.
