Elaine Almeda Stieg, age 83 of LeRoy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in Grand Rapids.

She was born May 30, 1941, in Hart, MI to Michael and Verla (Kidder) Patterson and was a 1959 graduate of Scottville High School.  Elaine was married to Ron Stieg on  January 29, 1966 who survives her.  Together, Elaine and Ron owned and operated a dairy farm and raised 7 children.  She loved gardening and flowers and operated a greenhouse in warmer months.  Elaine enjoyed cooking, singing, dancing, horseback riding and scrapbooking.  
She is survived by her husband Ron Stieg; children: Shannon Hilt, David (Linda) Stieg, Angela Stieg, and Jack Stieg; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings Gerald (Patricia) Patterson and Linda (Terry) Marsh; Daughter-In-Law Christina Stieg; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Terry, Matt, and Jonathon; grandson Dalton; and her siblings Jewel Pollaski, June Pollaski-Davis, and Wayne Patterson.

Funeral services was held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Pruitt-Livingston Funeral Home in Reed City.  Burial will follow at the Ashton Cemetery with a luncheon at the Lincoln Township Hall immediately afterward.  Visitation with the family will take place from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, April 11, 2025, at the funeral home.
