Robin Lynn Foster, of Fort Mohave, AZ, passed too soon at Mayo Clinic Hospital, in Phoenix, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at age 61 years young. Although we no longer have such an amazing person with us, she left us with so much love and good memories that we know she remains with us in spirit and we’ll carry on her legacy of unconditional love and devotion.
Robin was born in Trenton, Michigan on March 2,1963 to Leonard and Lois (McMillen) Ryan. She was raised downriver and was a 1981 graduate of Airport High School. On August 16,1980, at the tender age of 17, she married Rodger Lee Foster in Flat Rock. In 1988 they moved to Chicago and raised their family before moving to Fort Mohave, Arizona in 2020. They always loved coming home to their little slice of heaven in Evart, Michigan, that they purchased in 2001.
Robin and Rodger loved going antiquing. She enjoyed: painting whenever she could, going to the gun range, the jewelry Roger spoiled her with, traveling, animals, butterflies and flowers. She was a gifted cake decorator, baker, and artist.
Robin was a proud American and wonderful loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend. Robin raised her grandchildren and loved every second of it. She devoted herself to her family and husband and was great at it. The world lost a true treasure.
Left to treasure her memory are: her loving husband of 44 1/2 wonderful years, Rodger; mother, Lois Ryan of Fort Mohave, AZ; daughter, Shannon (Andrew) Lundgren, and their children, Neona, Shaun & Kacey Lundgren and daughter, Leslie (Fiancé, Zemar Badruddin) Foster and their children, Kayla and Charles Primm ll, Macaila Rose Vigil, and Yasmin Badruddin; sister; Kelly (Buford “Trey”) Wiley and their two children, Shea and Buford Wiley IV; brother, Leonard (Kathleen) Ryan; Cousins, Rashelle Salisbury, Rollen, and Randy Gagnon, Ronnie (Leonard) Cass and Mike Knope; extended family and friends.
Robin was preceded in death by: her father, Leonard; paternal uncle, James Ryan; paternal aunts, Pat Gagnon and Sheryl (Bob) Knope; and maternal aunts, Ilene and Frannie.
Family and friends can meet at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart, on Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for visitation. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Friday, January 31st with visitation one hour prior. Internment will take place in the spring. She was laid to rest at 1 p.m. on April 28, 2025 at Sylvan Township Cemetery, Evart, MI. Memorial contributions in Robin’s name can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
