Bill "Maddog” Curtice Sr. passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025 at the age of 61 in his home.

Bill was a man who embraced life and the outdoors. He found great joy in feeling the freedom of the open road while riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Bill also enjoyed fishing and hunting and sharing good times with family and friends during cookouts.

He is survived by a loving family who will miss him dearly. His children: Bill (Bridget) Curtice, Adam Curtice, Ashley (Jamie Gibbons) Skaggs, Jack Winistorf, Jarrid Curtice, Jasmyn (Derrick Potter) Curtice. His cherished grandchildren: William Curtice III, Francis Curtice, Delilah Potter, Margaret Curtice, Theodore "Huck" Curtice, Savanna Skaggs, and Eugene Skaggs. He is also survived by his siblings: brother John (Lisa Miller) Curtice, sister Becky Shananaquet and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his mom, Yvonne Holdman, his brother Roy Shananaquet, his long-time girlfriend Amy Barratt, and his beloved grandson Nicholas.

Bill "Maddog" Curtice Sr. will be remembered for his love of adventure, family, and friends. He will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, June 7 at the Curtice Farm located at 1866 East 17 Mile Rd., Bitely, MI.

Cremation and Care has been entrusted to Corey Funeral Home in Evart. Memorial contributions can be made to Corey Funeral Home to cover his final expenses.
