Hilda Marie Owen, age 90, went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2025 at the Northwoods Nursing Center in Farwell. Hilda was born Hilda Vandenbos on  September 28, 1934 in Kalamazoo. She was raised by her grandparents on a celery farm.

Hilda married Frank Owen in the early 40's. She had six children and lived and worked in Kalamazoo. She worked as a waitress most of her working years.

Hilda is survived by: son, Joe Boyle, son, John Kline (Joyce); son, Adam Owen, daughter - Debra Cole - daughter - Paula Dewey - daughter-in-law - Sonja Owen. Hilda was preceded in death by: husband, Frank Owen, sister - Evan and son - Cliff Owen.

Hilda leaned on her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ throughout her life. She now rests in peace in His arms.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
