Lyle Lee Reedy, age 64 of Flushing, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. He was born on January 18, 1961 in Flint, Michigan, the sixth child of Norma Alene (Peterson) and Maurice Franklin Reedy. In 1979 Lyle graduated from Atherton High School in Burton, MI where he played football. He attended Northwood University in Midland and throughout the years worked as a skilled CAD engineering technician for various companies in Flint & Grand Rapids, as well as a couple of years in Texas.
Lyle enjoyed working with computers, visiting casinos, playing practical jokes on family and friends, and playing cards at the annual family Thanksgiving dinner. He was an avid fan of Detroit Lions football and an even bigger fan of his beloved, Detroit Tigers.
Lyle was preceded in death by: two brothers, Glen and Dean Reedy; two sisters-in-law, Carol and Marge Reedy and nephew, Brian Reedy. Lyle never married, but he leaves behind: an older brother, Gerald Reedy of Evart, MI; two sisters, Gloria (Greg) Thompson of Mattoon, Illinois and Louise (John) Bokor of Flint, Michigan; as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
Burial of cremains will take place at Sylvan Township Cemetery on July 19th at 10AM. Donations in Lyle’s honor may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the donor’s choice.
