Albert “Timothy” Henegar passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, in Hospice care in Royal Oak, MI. He was 58 years old.
Tim was born on April 6th, 1967, in Westland, MI. He was the youngest child of Albert Thomas and Julia Catherine Henegar. Tim grew up in a one room school house as the youngest of five. He attended Reed City schools, where he graduated in 1985.
Tim was baptized at St. Kevin’s in Westland, MI. He was raised Catholic, and served as an alter boy at St. Anne’s Church in Paris, MI for the majority of his youth.
Tim proudly served in the Navy and National guard. He returned to Michigan where he worked and lived. Tim seemed to always know a little bit about a lot of things. He was always the first to be called to fix a car, put up some drywall, and to help move.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents Albert Thomas and Julia Catherine, as well as his brother and best friend, Christopher Thomas. He is survived by his sisters, Mary (Michael) Grossbauer of Holt, MI, Rose Henegar of Paris, MI, and Sharon (Mark) Miller of Reed City, MI.
Tim also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews. Tim took pleasure in being a dog/cat dad to many fur babies along the way. His best girl, Bree, was his constant companion for many years, and was recognized in and about many of the businesses in Big Rapids.
His legacy is the abundance of lifelong friends he has made and maintained. Tim embodied the spirit of living life on his own terms. His heart was indeed full of love.
A visitation with his family will take place at the Pruitt Livingston funeral home in Reed City, MI, on June 16th 2025, at 10:00am, followed by a grave side service at St. Anne’s cemetery in Paris, MI at 1:00 P.M.
