Judy Ann Willis (Freddie) of Hawkins MI, passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2025 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Freddie is survived by her husband Richard, her daughter Tiffany, Stepchildren Ginger (Pete) Morneau, Robert Willis and Rochelle Willis. Grandchildren Nolan, Austin, Cierra, Christoper, Jasper, Braelee, Dakota (Brittney), Alexander (MaKayla), Noah, Lacey, Cheyenne and Michaela and twelve Great Grand Children! She also adopted Erin & Brain Benjamin, their children Cylie (Tanner) Havens, Hunter (Ayana) Benjamin and Levi Rogers. Her siblings Janice Sapelak, Kathy Ray, Gerry & Jo Giles, Dick Giles, Debbie Jelinek, Bob & Denise Giles, Bill & Lori Giles, Marlene & Jerry Hance and many nieces and nephews. Freddie was preceded in death by her mother Eleanor, father Richard, her mother and father in-law Alfred and June Willis, nieces Tina and Corie, nephew Eric and her brother in-law Jim
She was born September 28th, 1957 in Milford Michigan to Richard and Eleanor Giles. Judy graduated from Milford High School. In 1979 Judy met her husband Richard Willis. Judy got her nickname (Freddie) while working on a car. Richard told Judy that she looked more like a Freddie under that car than a Judy. In 1980 Freddie and Richard moved to Hawkins Michigan. On March 2nd, 1987 Judy married the love of her life Richard. In 1983 Freddie and Richard celebrated the birth of their daughter Tiffany Willis.
Freddie started her career at the Buckboard Bar in Reed City then the Hawkins Bar where she met a lot of friends that became family. She also worked at Nabco in Reed City. For the past 17 years Freddie worked for the Mecosta County Parks at Brower Park. She made that her second home. Everyone who came to Brower became family. In fact, everyone Freddie knew became part of her family.
