Delia (Torres) Cooper Dormire, born May 23, 1939, in a migrant worker’s cart in Lincoln Township, Isabella County, Michigan, passed away at her home in Evart, MI, on Sunday, August 2, 2025 with family at her side.

Delia was married 20 years to Orville Cooper, bore three children, Debra, Donald and Deanna, from these children: ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by: one brother, Ben Torres and two sisters, Alicia Elezondo and Helen Norman; friends who helped when she needed, Tony Gomez, Rose Rumway and Janice Hanson and many co-workers from Evart Products, where she was employed as an inspector and press operator for many years.

Delia was preceded in death by: husbands, Orville Cooper and Darwin Dormire; her parents and siblings, Sarah Machuta, David Torres Jr., Ezekiel Torres, and Tim Torres.

Cremation and care have been entrusted to the Corey Funeral Home in Evart.
