Linda Elaine Marks-Edstrom, age 78 of LeRoy, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025, in Traverse City.

She was born September 27, 1946, in Reed City to Doyle and Thelma (Noreen) Nelson and was a 1964 graduate of LeRoy High School (Broncos!).  In 1964 she was married to Gary Marks who passed away in 1982.  Linda was a 1981 graduate of the Cadillac Mercy Hospital Nursing School and worked at the Cadillac Hospital as a nurse for over 30 years until her retirement.  On May 18, 1991, she was married to David Edstrom who survives her.  She enjoyed road trips to the Upper Peninsula and up around Lake Superior, visiting the casino, playing Big Fish on her ipad, and lady’s days with friends, tending to her flowers, and watching the birds and her fishpond.

She will be remembered as our Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

She is survived by her husband David Edstrom, sons Richard (Linda) Marks, Ronald (Trish) Marks, Douglas Marks; step-son Mark Edstrom; grandchildren Madison Marks, Nathan Marks, Morgan Edstrom, Jacob (Samantha) Cubitt, Andrew Alberts, Nicole (Steve) Sikkema, Curtis Kangas, and Mallory Babcock; great grandchildren Javen, Braelyn, and Bennett; sisters-in-law Sharon (Lynn) Nelson, Sandra (Anthony) Cornelius, Carolyn Griegel, and Nancy (James) Crawford; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Doyle and Thelma Nelson; her brother Lynn (Sharon) Nelson; her father and mother-in-law Gunnard and Elva Edstrom; and her sister-in-law Jo Ellen Ekins.
