Stacey Lynn Reed, age 57, died at her Cedar Township home, on Sept. 21, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. Stacey and her twin were born in Reed City, MI on April 22, 1968 and were raised in Sears. ?She was a 1986 graduate of Chippewa Hills High School and earned a Cosmetology certificate from MOCC.
Throughout the years, ?Stacey worked as a cosmetologist, preschool parapro and a home health aid. On April 9, 1988 she married Bruce Reed in Big Rapids and they made their home in Evart before moving to Reed City.?
Stacey is preceded in death by: her grandparents, Loren & Mamie Turner and Max & Kathleen McCall; mother, Loraine Turner; father, Richard McCall and niece, Sierra Cass.?
Stacey is survived by: her husband of 37 years, Bruce Reed; son, Loren (Rebecca) Reed; daughter, Desiree Reed; one sister, Tracey & (Peter) Seager and their son, Tyler (Brie) Cass and many inlaws, extended family members and friends.
?Stacey enjoyed all sorts of crafting, camping, fishing and combing the beaches for Petoskey stones, agates and beach glass. ?Stacey loved the Lord and put her faith in Jesus Christ as her savior.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Corey Funeral Home in Evart and an intimate family gathering is being planned. With circumstances being what they are for the time being, memorial contributions in Stacey’s name can be made to the Corey Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
