Wesley “Michael” Brooks passed away peacefully, joined the Lord and loved ones who passed before him on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

He was born to Virginia (O’Leary) and Wesley Brooks in Howell, MI on March 3, 1945.  He lovingly remembered his grandmother, Laura O’Leary, and how she played a significant role in shaping his life.  Michael always talked of loving his life and was thankful for his many wonderful experiences.  Michael will be greatly missed by his wife, Judy, and their sons, Dennis and Jason, whom he loved so very much.

Michael always gave of himself, first to his family but also to his country, community, and neighbors.  His kind heart was known by the many friends he enjoyed spending time with.  Thank you for loving him, and please honor him by enjoying a quiet moment in nature or sharing memories of his friendship with those you love.

Burial at Chase Twp. Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a tree be planted in his memory.
