Nicholas Hyde Wetherington, age 83 of Evart, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Medilodge of Clare. Nick was born in New Orleans, LA on December 17, 1942 to the late Nelson and Wilma (Hyde) Wetherington.

Nick was a dedicated Vietnam veteran & minister and treasured husband of, Lois “Kay” (Brinks) Dusendang-Wetherington.

Family and friends are encouraged to share stories at visitation from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM on Thursday, October 30th at Calvary Baptist Church, Evart, MI. A memorial service will be held at church on Saturday, November 1st at 1PM with visitation one hour prior.

Memorial contributions in Nick’s name can be made to Calvary Baptist- sound system fund or Christ Ministry for Philippines Radio that enriched Nick’s life and was encouraged by his sister-in-law.
