Naomi Ruth Jobes, age 84 of Reed City, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025.

She was born April 13, 1941, in Reed City to Fredrick Parmer and Esther Christina (Holmquist) Karns.  Naomi attended Reed City High School and graduated in 1959.  In her youth, she enjoyed playing cards and bowling with family and friends and camping and hunting with her siblings and grandchildren.  

She is survived by her son Jeff Jobes; grandchildren Robbie Halladay, Samantha Stojic, Kayla Jaramillo, Tyrel Raap, Rachel Oakley, Elizabeth Carley, and Patrick Jobes; 8 great grandchildren; and her 3 brothers and a sister; and a sister-in-law.

Naomi was preceded in death by her children Christena Jobes and Richard Jobes; 8 siblings, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 21, 2025 at the Reed City United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M.  Burial will take place at the Wilson Cemetery in Osceola County.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of Michigan.
