Allen Rexford Eastman, 69, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 2, 2026 at his daughter‘s home in Evart.
Allen was born on March 9, 1956, in Gaines, Michigan to Rex Ford and Mary Louise (Schmidt) Eastman. In 1972, the family moved from Gaines to Evart where Allen would continue to reside the majority of his life. Throughout the years he held jobs in the oil fields, as a truck driver and worked in construction.
Allen was from the generation of the school of hard knocks. He had a wild side, believed in working hard and playing hard, carried a sharp wit, a generous spirit and was willing to give the shirt off his back. Allen enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing karaoke at the Moose, smoking a pig for gatherings, and spending time relaxing with family and friends. He was rarely seen without a dog at his side, with Duke and Onyx being his most recent companions. One of his favorite traditions was driving a tractor in the Fourth of July parade, a moment he never missed.
Allen is survived by; children,Tyler Lewis of Reed City, Amber (Brandon) Lintemuth and Kenneth (Kayla) Eastman all of Evart; seven grandchildren, McCoy & Myles Lintemuth, Penelope Neiberger, Anna Marie Eastman, and Madison & Mackenzie Lewis and Gaige Ryan; one brother, Mitchell (Cynthia) Eastman of Mississippi; lifelong friend, Gary Clark of Evart and numerous nieces, nephews cousins, extended family, and friends.
Allen was preceded in death by: his parents and his brother, Anthony Eastman.
