Beloved wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend, Littisha L. (Hylton) Hill, left this earthly realm to be with the Lord on January 6. 2026.
Littisha was born on August 2, 1963, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Stanley and Valdonna (Slocum) Hylton. On March 15, 1986, at Flint Baptist Church she married Clifford Hill. He was so captivated by her then and still recalls feeling like “You wanted to fall in love with her.” They moved to Sears, Michigan soon after they wed and that’s where they started their family and raised their three children. To know Tish was to know the true meaning of devotion. She was a woman of unwavering principle and serious loyalty; once you were in her heart, you were there forever. She was the protector and the backbone of her family, always standing firm for those she loved with a rare and beautiful steadiness.
For many years, Littisha was a familiar and respected face in the community as she was a consistent presence, helping her brother, at M&J Furniture. She was dedicated and thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people, bringing that same sense of loyalty to the business and the people she assisted at M&J and as a certified nurses assistant.
Beyond her professional life and her deep love for her family, Tish was known for her sharp wit and her competitive spirit. She was a force to be reckoned with at the card table, where she took great joy in kicking anyone’s butt in cards. Whether it was a casual family gathering or a serious match, you knew to bring your best game if you were sitting across from her—though you’d likely still end up losing.
Tish is survived by: her devoted husband of nearly forty years, Clifford “Sonny” Hill; three children: Tish (Daniel) Miller, Cliff Jr. and Stanley Hill, who carry on her legacy of love and strength; proud and doting grandmother of London, Dawson, Xavier and Roscoe; sister of, Janice Young, Teresa Hylton and Helen Hylton, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her fierce spirit and persuasive persistence.
Tish was preceded in death by, her parents, as well as her brothers: Michael Lee, Ronny, Randy, and Foster Hylton and granddaughter, Danika Hill.
Cremation and care have been entrusted to Corey Funeral Home in Evart. Condolences, expressions of sympathy or favorite memories of Tish can be shared at www.coreyfuneralhome.com.
A celebration of Life is being planned for the upcoming weeks at the Barryton Community Building, Information will be posted as it becomes available.
