On Saturday, February 21, 2026, LuluBelle (Nowland) McCauley, 88, of Evart, was called up to glory at North Woods in Farwell.
She was born on December 3, 1937, in Charlevoix, Michigan, to Irvin and Minnie (Coblentz) Nowland. LuluBelle lived a life centered on family, hard work, and deep devotion to those she loved. She was known as the yard sale grandma, the cookie grandma and Aunt Lulu. She was formerly employed at Wolverine Worldwide for fifteen years and retired from Evart Products in 1992.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Carl McCauley; sons, Terry and Kirk McCauley; two grandsons, Jeff Dague and Ross McCauley; great grandchild Andrew Holmes Jr., and several siblings.
LuluBelle is survived by; her brother, Duey Nowland; brother?in?law, Duane McCauley; sister?in?law, Pat Nowland; two daughters; Debbie (Ralph) Custer and Diane (Brad) Conner, all of Evart; Grandchildren, Cara (Brady) Laesser, Karla (Drew) Holmes, Brad (Shawn) Conner, Kyle Conner, Kirk Jr. (Casey Kirkpatrick) McCauley, John (Kiera) McCauley, Todd (Ashley) McCauley, Heather (Jimmy) Vanassche and Hannah (Don) Hydron; 16 great?grandchildren and 5 great?great?grandchildren, that brought her immense joy.
Cremation and Care have been entrusted to Corey Funeral Home in Evart Michigan. A celebration of Life will take place at the Evart Community Building on March 7, 2026, at 1pm. Please bring a story to tell as there will be a time for sharing your favorite memories with LuluBelle. Internment is being planned for late spring at Lux Cemetery in Marion.
