Ardith Marie Gugle passed away quietly on March 19, 2026, in Tustin, MI.  She was 89 years old.

Ardith was born in Cedar Township to Henry and Julia (Block) Trimmer on October 11, 1936.  She attended Slayball Corner Country School and later attended Reed City High School where she graduated in 1955.  Ardith married Donald Gugle on June 26, 1955, and together they were blessed with 3 children.  Ardith worked for the Central Michigan Health Department in Reed City for 17 years until her retirement. She loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events which were the highlight of her life. She loved gardening, family gatherings and was a wonderful cook and baker. She will always be remembered for her homemade pies, rolls, and decorated cakes.  

She is survived by Kathy (Doug) Lockhart of Reed City, Kelly Gugle of LeRoy, and Randy (Julie) Gugle of Tustin; grandchildren Chris (Rhonda) Lockhart of Reed City, Amber (Alfonso) Payne of Reed City, Grant (Olivia) Gugle of Escanaba, Garett (Caitlyn) Gugle  of LeRoy, and Alaina Gugle of Tustin, Mason Gugle of LeRoy, and Jamen Whitmore of LeRoy who joined our family a few years ago. Also surviving are great grandchildren Jared Lockhart, Lexi Vicent-Payne, Jenelle Lockhart, Saylor Gugle, Myles Gugle, and Anya Gugle along with many nieces and nephews.  Ardith was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Julia Trimner, her husband Donald Gugle, and her 8 siblings: Mary Scharkey, Florence Kiedasch, Hazel Bowman, Caroline Orosz, Ruth Horn, Charles Trimner, Ester Lindquist, Helen Ginrich, and Grandson Jason Lockhart

Her final resting place will be at the Cedar Township Cemetery next to her husband Don.  A celebration of life service will take place the Lincoln Twp. Hall at 2:00 P.M. on April 24, 2026.
