Gilbert Charles Moot Sr, Son of Carl and Nettie Moot passed away on April 22, 2026 in Traverse City, Michigan. Gilbert was born in Evart, Michigan in 1942.

He follows his brother of Lyle (deceased) and Margie (deceased) and leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Mary M Moot and 7 children: Catherine (deceased), Gilbert C Moot II, Mary M Chaperon (deceased), Bob Moot, Carl Moot, James Moot and Tammy Tissue. Our Love and Prayers go out to all those who knew him and will now live on with his memory.

Graveside services will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Evart, MI, on May 2, 2026 at 11 AM with a Celebration of Life from 12-5 at 822 S Mill St, Reed City, MI 49677.
