Pamela J. Prichard, 81

Pamela J. Prichard, of Evart, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, at the age of 81.

Pamela was born on February 15, 1945, to Carl and Virginia Morlock. She was raised in Evart and graduated from Evart High School in 1963. On June 13, 1970, she married the love of her life, Donald E. Prichard, and together they built a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work.

Pam was a devoted homemaker and farm wife, dedicating her life to caring for her family and helping run their family farm in Evart, where they raised their four children. Beyond her immediate family, Pam and Donald opened their home to many teenagers over the years, welcoming them with warmth and making them feel like part of the family.

She was an active member of the Farm Bureau and a faithful member of Evart and Reed City United Methodist Church. Pam also served her community through her work in the Osceola County Clerk’s Office in Reed City for 17 years.

Pam will be fondly remembered for her loving personality, her unwavering kindness, and her famous chocolate chip cookies, which brought joy to so many. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family deeply. Her love for her grandchildren was boundless, and she found great joy in each of them.

A devoted Christian, Pam lived her life with strong faith and found comfort in knowing she would be with Jesus in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Prichard, as well as her parents, Carl and Virginia Morlock, and her brother Larry Morlock.

Pamela is survived by her brother Marshall (Sharon) Morlock and four children: Melanie (John) Harrison of Phoenix, AZ, Fred (Annette) Prichard of Sears, Michigan, James Prichard of Evart, Michigan, and Denise (Karl) Nelson of Reed City, Michigan. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Joseph (Hillary) Prichard, Steven (Olivia) Prichard, Avery (Jessica) Harrison, Kayla (Brian) Saxon, Arianne (Mykel) Hall, Logan Prichard, Trevor Nelson, and Alanna Nelson, as well as nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Reed City United Methodist Church, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the children' s department at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church to support her grandkids and their walk of faith.

Pam’s legacy of love, faith, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
