Daniel Allen Cowley may be gone from our sight but will never be gone from our hearts. Daniel passed into the arms of God, after an unexpected accident at his home, in Evart, on Saturday, May 2, 2026. He was 44. Daniel was born on Mother’s Day, May 10, 1981 in St. Johns, Michigan to Charles III and Ellen (Personious) Cowley. As a child the family moved to Evart where he graduated from high school in 2000.

Daniel had a way of always making things memorable. He loved his support dog “Cobalt” unconditionally and was very much a home body.

Left with a huge void in their hearts are his parents, Ellen Wilcox and Charles III and Carol Cowley; sisters, Kristine Sator and Noel (Josh) Carr; nephews, Cameron, Charles and Chandler; nieces, Krystian, Faith, Hope, Charity, Mercede, and Isabelle; his grandmother, Gwen Denny and many cousins, extended family and friends.

Daniel was preceded in death by: his brother, Charles Cowley IV; grandparent’s, Charles II and Barbara Cowley and grandfathers, Allen Personious and Gerald Denny.

Visitation will be held at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart at 1PM Saturday, May 9th with a short service at 2PM followed by interment at Orient Township Cemetery in Sears.
