Stephen Dean Steig, age 70 of Reed City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

He was born on March 30, 1956, in Reed City, to Harold Dean and Nina Lois (Johnson) Steig.  

Stephen is survived by his children: Brandon Stephen (Sami) Steig, Kelli Jo (Christopher) Maguire, and Shannon Anne Klender; and his grandchildren: Austin, Shane, Connor, Emily, McKenzie, and John; and a small circle of close friends, including his best pal Scott Moody who held a special place in his heart.
