Thomas Harvey Beebe, 80

Thomas Harvey Beebe passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at home. He was born on February 26, 1949 in Reed City, Michigan to William Thomas Beebe Sr. and Margaret Louise (Kelley) Beebe. Tom graduated high school and sometime later entered into the United States Army. He spent a year in Vietnam, as a cook, before his honorable discharge. Tom made his home in Charlotte, Florida where he was a meat cutter at Publix before moving to Michigan.

Tom spent 40 years as a logger, cutting, selling and building with wood. He was a graded car mechanic and owned and operated the shop in Marion for years. Most recently Tom was building pole barns. He was a man of few words with a heart of gold. He was a character through and through. Tom was a wealth of knowledge and someone that his grandchildren could ask anything to, and he would have an answer. When building if they got stuck and something wasn't quite straight or sturdy enough they could call grandpa and he would let them know how to straighten it out or how many times to kick it to get to work again. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing the guitar, was an avid coin collector and consistently won at Keno.

On September 11, 2010, in a joint wedding with his daughter, he married longtime girlfriend, Antoinette Grabinski. They were members of the Evart Moose Lodge.
