Victor Allen Britton, a beloved family man and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on August 19, 1953, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Victor grew up with a spirit full of adventure and a heart overflowing with love for his family and friends.

Victor was a passionate individual, known for his love of hunting and fishing, and for the enjoyment he found in playing dice with those he cherished. He dedicated 35 years of his life as a line operator at General Motors, where his work ethic and commitment were renowned among his colleagues.

His greatest joy came from his family; he was a great uncle who loved his nieces and nephews. His big heart and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Victor is survived by: one sister Donna Cole (Mark) and two brother's Lorenzo Britton (Sue) Roy Britton Jr (Carol) and several nieces and nephews (great and great-great) and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Lakeview on July 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM. A visitation will take place on July 13, 2026, from 12pm-2pm. Family and friends are warmly invited to join in honoring Victor's life and sharing cherished memories at the luncheon following the service. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he loved.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents Nancy Bullock (mother) Roy Britton Sr (father), one sister Alice Newman and one brother Robert Britton.
