With the passing of Jennifer Luv (Booher) Michaud, on Thursday, July 30, 2026, there is an explainable void in our hearts but as we look around, she is still everywhere. In everything that she did, there was beauty, strength, resilience, and faith. She never met a stranger, and with that being said, left a major impact on all she encountered. She was not only generous with her family but most everyone she knew. She genuinely cared about people and they remember her for that. Jennifer loved all of her family with loyalty and unconditionally. She can rest in peace knowing that they know this truth, they know she knows God as her Savior and she gave this life her all.

While living in Lansing, she met a trumpet player, Matthew Michaud, knew that they were made for each other and fell in love. They made their home in Lansing 13 years before moving to Sault Ste. Marie to be closer to family. She prayed for him and prayed that one day he would take her for his wife. On April 2, 2026 in an old church turned vacuum shop (Edgerly's Sew & Vac), owned by family friends, she found her dream come true. Together they were the perfect storm- both passionate, both strong willed, and both eventually willing to forgive, because their love conquered all and at the end of the day - they chose each other. She was steadfast in her convictions, held firm to what she believed in and was true to herself. Having these traits gave her the inner strength to care for the love of her life, Matt, as he battles cancer and to be the support he needed.

Jennifer was the oldest of five children, born on March 18, 1975 in Reed City, to Daniel and Linda (Sherman) Booher. In 1994 Jennifer graduated from Heritage Christian Academy in Reed and obtained her Master’s in Business Administration from Cornerstone. She was the Claims Manager at Two Men and a Truck in Lansing and felt at home attending Riverview Church when she was able.

Jennifer had a keen sense for fashion and interior design which suited her vibrant and bold personality. She loved music as much as Matt loved playing it. Jenny's two beloved Shih Tzu’s, Buttercup Rose and Petunia May brought countless hours of joy to her life.

Left knowing that for everything there is a season and holding onto the hope that, one day they will all be reunited again are: her best friend and love of her life, Matthew; her parents, Daniel and Linda Booher; one brother, Daniel (Becca) Booher of Davenport, IA; sisters, Rebecca Shoemaker of Lansing, Andréa (Timothy) Martin of Allegan and Abigail (Ben) Kiekover of Marion; four nieces, seven nephews; her father-in-law, Ernest Michaud of Sault Ste. Marie and numerous Aunts and Uncles, cousins and friends.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her: maternal and paternal grandparents, Eugene and Carol Sherman & Kenneth and Geneva Booher, as well as cousins, Angela and Jeffrey Rosser.

On Monday, August 10th at 1:00 p.m. a celebration of life will be held, in honor of Jennifer, at Evart First Baptist Church with a procession to Cherry Valley Cemetery, Evart, MI to follow.

Visitation will be held, at the church, one hour prior from Noon until 1:00 p.m.
