It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Marie Treadway, age 84 of Reed City, MI, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

She was born on September 4, 1941, in Monroe, MI.  Joyce was employed at Gerth’s Market in Monroe for several years before moving to Reed City where she spent 30 years working for the Spring Valley Golf Course.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and attending garage sales.

She is survived by her three children: Robert (Cathy) Treadway II, Penny Kieronski, Barbie Bechtol; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; 7 siblings: Patricia (Tip) Florian, Janet (Greg) Adair, Linda (Mike) Venier, Jake Henderson, John Ford, Nora (Jeff) Raymo, Mary (Perry) Gallina.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob Treadway, mother and father Mildred (Darby) and Ed Ford, daughter Robin Marie Treadway; granddaughter Jody Treadway, and her brother William Ford.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, she requested that memorial donations in her name be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Joyce will be remembered for her kind heart and the love she shared with those around her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
