William E. Davis of Evart passed away, Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Reed City Fields Assisted Living.  He was 91.

Mr. Davis was born on August 28, 1934, in Petosky to Norman and Virginia (Adams) Davis and was a graduate of Evart High School. Bill married JoAnn K. (Whitney) Davis in Cadillac on May 7, 1960. He retired as a Manufacturing Engineer after 30 years of service at Evart Products in August 1996. 

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Outside of work, Bill enjoyed farming, hunting, camping, boating, riding snowmobiles and motorcycles along with working on small engines. He was a brother of the Evart Masonic Lodge, No. 320. 

He is survived by his two daughters, Cynthia Jo Marsh of TN, and Lori Ann (Richard Jr.) Stafford of Evart, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, three brothers: Doug Davis, Dan Davis, and John Davis, and his sister, Hertha Thompson.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife, JoAnn K. of 55 years, his son, Timothy E. Davis, granddaughter Kayla Davis, five brothers: Doug Wilks, Jim Davis, Richard Davis, Robert Davis, and Samuel Davis.

A Masonic graveside service will be held at Maple Valley Cemetery in Hartwick Twp., Osceola County, MI. at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 10, 2026.
