Anthony John Harmon, 35, of Big Rapids, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2026.Anthony is survived by his son, Jacob McGee; his parents, Lisa and Richard Dysard II, and Chester John Harmon; his sister, Melissa Fore (Clint) and her children Andrew, Brooklyn, Scott, and Ethan; his brothers, Richard Dysard III (Brittany) and Russell Harmon; his grandparents, Dan and Mary Hinkley, Bonnie Hinkley, and Patricia Livingston; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who loved him.
Anthony was loved by many and lived a simple life centered around the things that brought him peace and happiness. He had a deep appreciation for nature and especially enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. Throughout his life, he cared for many turtles, lizards, snakes, and fish, and took great pride in his collections of rocks and natural treasures. He also enjoyed landscaping and tree work, finding fulfillment in working with the land. A free spirit at heart, Anthony had a gift for making others laugh. His sense of humor and ability to bring life and light to everyday moments will be remembered by all who knew him. He was a talented and creative artist who expressed himself through drawing, tattoo art, and poetry. These passions allowed him to share his imagination and bring comfort and understanding to those around him. Anthony's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 19, 2026 4:00 pm at the American Legion in Morley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a suicide prevention organization in Anthony's honor.
