Ernest Wymer Jr., a beloved family man and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, just one day shy of his 69th birthday. Born on September 6, 1957, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Ernest lived a full life marked by his steadfast spirit and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.

Hard-headed yet kind-hearted, Ernest was known for his passionate nature and his ability to bring joy to those around him. He found solace in the great outdoors, where he loved to fish and hunt, spending countless weekends camping under the stars with family and friends. His love for nature was matched only by his fondness for classic Westerns, often gathering with family to watch his favorite films and share stories around the campfire. Ernest was also a talented artist and writer, expressing his creativity through drawing and the written word. He had a unique talent for capturing the beauty of life, and his works will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Ernest is survived by his children Jamie (Jeff) Rausch, Matt (Tricia) Wymer, Nick Wymer, Damion Glennie, and Tesha glennie. Along with his grandchildren Mercedes, William, Troy, Lily, Isaiah, Issac, Tristian, Bella, Matthias, Jonavin Glennie and great grandchildren, Thor, Na'Amari, and Armani.
