Penny Marie Alger, 69, of Stanwood, passed away Thursday October 15, 2026

Penny was born November 29, 1956 - Daughter of Willard and Susan Alger. She drove as a truck driver for most of her working career before being injured which disabled her from working. She loved seeing the country side of the USA. Penny loved all the animals she could. Loved riding Harley and pontoon with with friends even though she was in pain. She was a kind, funny, joking person and getting people to laugh. Always yelled, not say YATZEE. She will be deeply missed.

Penny is survived by her significant other of 28 yrs and adopted family: sister Mary and sister in law Pat: nieces and nephews and several close friends.

Proceeded in death by: parents and brother Michael.

There will be a celebration of life at Eagles Aerie 4360 of Stanwood, Michigan on November 12, 2026, 2:00 - 5:00 PM.
