Jarrad Quentin Boroff, 43, of Mecosta, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026.
He was born February 25, 1983, in Big Rapids, the son of Neachel Boroff and Rose Henegar. Jarrad attended Big Rapids Public Schools and Chippewa Hills Schools and was baptized at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Reed City.
Jarrad worked alongside his dad doing landscaping, where he enjoyed spending time together while working outdoors. Music was a special part of his life, and he had an extensive collection of instruments that he loved to play. He also treasured the time he spent with his friends and was someone who could always be counted on to bring a little laughter to those around him.
Jarrad was loyal, good-natured, and kindhearted. He always seemed to have a joke to share and was rarely without a smile on his face. His easygoing personality and genuine love for his friends and family will be deeply missed. His beloved dog, Blue, was also a cherished companion and an important part of his life.
He is survived by his parents, Neachel Boroff and Rose Henegar; brothers, Jason Boyce, Patrick Flagg, and Lucas Flagg; nephews, Vincent and Evan; niece, Lydia; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Shalla Boroff and Albert and Julia Henegar; and his uncles, Christopher and Timothy.
Jarrad leaves behind many memories of laughter, music, friendship, and the simple joy he brought to the people who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his loyalty, his sense of humor, and, most of all, his ever-present smile.
