Some of his most meaningful memories were made with his boys while hunting, fishing, camping, working on projects, or simply spending time together. He enjoyed sharing what he knew, teaching them new things, and making memories that would remain with them throughout their lives.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Sr. and Barbara Kleeves, and his father-in-law, Fredrick Kehr.

Rob is survived by his wife, Kimberly Kleeves; his sons, Raymond (Ashley Taylor) Kleeves and Joshua Kleeves; his stepmother, Judy (Bill) Edwards; and his siblings: Matt (Pattie) Kleeves, Jack Jr. Kleeves, Hank Kleeves, John (Shelley) Kleeves, Danny (Kim) Kleeves, Jenny Mae Kleeves (Cees), Sarah (Nick) Wilson, Nate (Brandy) Kleeves, Chris Nicholson, Mike (Robin) Nicholson.  He also leaves behind many friends and loved ones who were part of his life.

Rob will be remembered for his love of music, devotion to Kimberly and his sons, hardworking spirit, generous heart, and special sense of humor. Whether he was playing bass, working with his hands, sharing a laugh, or enjoying time outdoors with his boys, he created memories that will be treasured by those who knew him.

The music he played, the lessons he shared, and the time he gave to his family and friends will continue to live on in their hearts. Rob will be deeply missed and remembered in the many simple moments that made his life meaningful.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lou B. Winsor Lodge 363 of Free and Accepted Masons located at 215 E. Church Street; Reed City, MI 49677
