Kathie Ann Little passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 28, 2026, at the age of 70, following a courageous battle with heart disease.
Kathie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Richard. Her five children Michelle (Mike) Paul, Kurt (Kathy) Burhans, Desiree’ (Chris Huff) Korytkowski, Richard Litte and Patrick Little. Twelve grandchildren Cannon, Joe, Mikeal, Korey, Sydney, Lauren, Austin, Rhyen, Rowyn, Layla, Chloe and Elizabeth; five great grandchildren; four sisters, Judy, Vickey, Sherri and Christine; and two brothers, Norman and Chuck.
Kathie was preceded in death by her parents Verna and Chuck Blanchard, and Norman Burhans. She was also proceeded in death by her sisters, Betty, Linda, Cindy and Sherry.
She was known for her feisty spirit, honesty, and loving heart. Kathie brought laughter and joy to those around her. She enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage, watching movies, yard sales, and sewing beautiful dresses for special occasions.
Above all, Kathie’s greatest joy was her family. Her strength, love, and unforgettable personality will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2026, at the Ladner Cemetery in Stanwood. Viewing and visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Care and arrangements are entrusted to Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
